Data Replication - SRM

Hi,

I'm busy doing so research in something I haven't done before. I was asked to configure the PI side in SRM data replication for CCM and was give sap note 1268821 as a guideline. I only undertand bits and pieces of what they are talking about in there. Also I've gone through plenty of other sap notes to try and figure out what to do.

From what I gather there are existing ESR objects I can use when creating the scenario for the replication process. I've pasted those below. Can someone give me some indication on where they are and what I should do? I asume I must add some products somewhere on the SLD and re-import the swcv on the ESR to that the objects are visible. Is this a sap swc I import or a should I create one for SRM? If so what do I need to add to the swc so it shows on ESR?

Aso I believe on SRM there's a portal which uses these web services for replicating data to ECC, ISU module I think. If I create the scenario for this I must then generate the sender WSDL for the SRM portal to consume? Is the receiver end also web service or would that be an IDOC?

Hi Jan -

You should download the ESR content from service market place and import the tpz files into ESR.

Hi,

Not sure if it makes a difference but I forgot to mention I'm using PI 7.31.

I've imported the content to the ERS:

Is there anything else I need to do on here?

Then in my ID, I probably need to configure the scenario. But I'm not having any luck. If I go to Tools -> Apply Model from ERS. I don't see anything there related to SRM. Can you maybe explain to me what steps I must take?

Hi Jan - PI version is not a problem.
