No input (Grey out mode) for characteristics in VA01 for configurable materials

Dear Experts,

  While creating sales order when we go to maintain the item details( Configuration) all the input fields are in Grey out mode.

CT04: Detials screen

i have maintained the class, cu41, also is there any missing from Sales side?

them its allow enter the Configuration

Did you check structure scope in item category configuration. What is the item category of your material?

Strategy group is: 20 Make to order and Plant specific config is maintained for Variant and Planning

Variant.

Hi,

Check BOM configuration for your item category. Maintain 'C' or 'D' as structure scope in order to enable configuration in sales order.
