Passing filter from Visual composer (Netweaver 7.3) and BEx Web Application Designer(Netweaver 7.3)

Hi Experts,

I am working on a project, where I need to work with data from SAP systems (CRM) and BW.

The idea is to have simple cockpit with most important informations but with posibility to dril down to the detail reports.

I thought we could create this by combining Visual composer and BEx Web Application Designer. The problem is, when I try to pass filter from visual composer to WAD, nothing happens.

I have followed this document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/cab252d4-0a01-0010-3984-ee345859d... but it's for older version.

So I tried this document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/50b65a5d-f397-2910-a78a-f5544f21c... but there is older version of VC and it did not work.

Do you have any suggestions how to make it work?

Is this even the right way to go or would you suggest different approach?
