Restricting Substitute approver's (F4 help values) based on approver's approval limit for Tcode RMPS_SET_SUBSTITUTE

Hi All,

I am new to the SRM.

Actually we are working on SRM 5.0 extended classic scenario.

Requirement is..... we need to restrict the users during assigning the Substitute approver's( F4 help values) for the approver , based on approver's approval limit during  for Tcode RMPS_SET_SUBSTITUTE .

That means validation should check substitute approver’s approval limit to be >= approver’s limit...so those users only has to be displayed

in the F4 help during assigning the substitute in the tcode:RMPS_SET_SUBSTITUTE.

I know how to find the approval limit and all.

I want to know how to restrict the users based on the approver limit.

Where I need to code or is there any BADI to limit these F4 values.

And also is there any implicit enhancement?

I tried but i could not found.

Suggestions appreciated.

Hi Sriman,

Actually it is for SRM 5.0 only ,But  applicable when user is adding substitute from Portal not from SRM system(development).

But My requirement is user is adding the substitute through the tcode RMPS_SET_SUBSTITUTE

in the SRM system.At that time this code is not trigerring.

Is there any other things I need to check .

Hi Raj

Can you please check  FM RH_SUBSTITUTES_LIST

And also maybe if we make an enhancement at the end of RH_SUBSTITUTION_DELETE function module Inside this enhancement, you can populate a specific table with data you want

and it should restrict the values .

Please check and confirm back .
