ATP against STO in SAP ECC

Hi Experts.,

When i perform ATP (check item availability) against a SO, system provides me an option called 'Fix qty / date', which shall enable me to showcase the confirmed dates & quantities in MD04 vis-a-vis requested dates & quantities for a particular Sales order.

Do we have a similar option while running ATP against a stock transfer order..? While checking Availablity for STO (Environment > Document item > Availability) i dont see any option for 'Fix Qty / Date'.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Krishna

Hi Eduardo,

Thanks for the reply..

I referred to the note and i see that in question 7, this seems to have been addressed..

--

7. Question:

Why it is not possible to transfer the result of the availability check to
the new schedule lines as in SD documents?
or
Why are schedule lines with
a delivery date in the past not checked for the current date?
or
How can
you 're-distribute' purchasing documents if the availability situation
changes?

Answer:

This function is not implemented. Due to the fact that no new schedule lines
are created for purchasing documents, the system always checks
for the schedule line date. This is also true if the schedule line date is in
the past.

However, as of Release 4.6C, stock transfer documents can also be
're-distributed' with Transaction V_V2. See the documentation for report
SDV03V02 and the release note. In this case, new schedule lines are possibly
created with the result of the availability check. However, the information of
the original schedule line (quantity/date) might get lost.

This means, that its not possible to have the toggle between confirmed dates & quantities vis-a-vis requested dates & quanitites for STOs.. Right..?

Hi

Yes, and I am sorry, but after the question "Why it is not possible to transfer...", SAP replies in this note: "This function is not implemented" and other reasons. And in the finish, it says it is valid for all releases.

I am sorry, but if it's a question from your client, think it is the solution to your research. Research in the same note and related notes for other solutions.
