Hi Jigar,

You can do this by 3 ways.

1. Self service portal

You have to install web server IIS or Apache, then copy and paste the Afaria COD files along with ALX and JAD. Then access webserver url from your Blackberry device Ex (http://localhost:80/afaria/), COD files will start installing Afaria. Give the enrollment code and configure it.

2. BES push

Activate enterprise account in your BB device, For this proper email id and password has to be configured in BES server which will access and validate the user by connecting Exchange server.

Then you can set the policy in BES server and Push the required COD files from BES server.

3. Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Download and install Blackberry Desktop manager. Connect your device through USB cable with your computer system. Open the Desktop Manager. After sync, open applications tab, and browse the Afaria ALX file and then install it. All the ALX, COD, JAD and JAR should in a same folder when installing this into device.

I hope this will help to you.

Hi jigar,

Relay server is not mandatory for bb devices, its just an optional one.

As i said in the previous post, you can follow any one of the three points.

Do you have BES server??

If you are doing all this for testing purpose, then just install blackberry desktop manager, connect your device with usb then install afaria cod files. Make sure all the cod, alx, jad, jar in same folder.

If you dont have BES, but you want install afaria by OTA, then you must go websever. Do you have webserver?? IIS or apache?
