Hi Experts,

I want to upload image from work manager application in mobile device to sap backend. I have an idea of uploading images through SE78 transaction, function modules etc.Does work manager application provided standard BAPI's to upload images?.It will be really helpful if any one list out the steps in details.

Thanks in advance.

A document is in the works for this. My colleague Manju is setting this up. May be up by tomorrow - he may ping me if it is available or post it here when he sees this link.

Sravanthi,

With the new WM 6.0, we now support attaching documents from the client.

There are two different ways to create an attachment in Work Manager, this depends on the SAP object (WorkOrder, Equipment, Func Loc) you are attaching it too.  The BAPIs used are as follows:

DMS Documents -
/SMERP/CORE_DODMSDOCUMENT_CRT

BDS Documents -
/SMERP/CORE_DOBDSDOCUMENT_CRT

Hi Jason, Could i ask you a quick question about BDS?

Where can i find the attached document from the device to the order in the SAP system?

Thanks,

Suhas

Suhas,

Sorry, but I don't deal with navigating the SAP backend side of things.  That is left to QA and backend developers in my group.  Someone else will need to answer this one.

You should see any uploaded files in the attachment list of an order.
