SOLMAN - SAINT Issue

Dear All,

Please guide me SAINT issue in SOLMAN.

I have upgraded kernel patch from 114 to 402.

I have attached the issue.

Dear All,

I need to apply ST5 in SOLMAN 7.1.

Loaded all the prerequisite support packs in system.

One of the prerequisite is CTS 200 Plugin.

When i execute CTS Plugin tool through SAINT, It is showing tp version is low in system.

I have attached the screens, Please guide me.

Dear Srini,

There is no issue in that you go to the location from where you have downloded the kernel ,,,Go in the Database Independent and download the R3trans and Tp as given below ,,,extract it in the kernel location /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/uc

and then proceed with the saint from client 000 only .

Hi Srinivas,

SAPOSCOL is not available from release 720 and it's replaced by SAP HOST AGENT.

Please check this -

Hi Srinivas,

Yes, it's possible to update the TP patch alone, As mentioned by Rableen's screenshot - download tptp_521-10007272.sar

and update it.

On Our Host, We have ADS system installed with latest 500patch 720 Kernel.

In services am able to see SAP Host agent.

Do i need to install for SOLMAN indvidually..?

My present Tp version is higher than the present note Tp version.

When we apply Kernel patch, it should update both tp and R3 right.

In my server , present i have 500 patch with db and db independent files.

Why the issue araising. Any files missed during upgrade.

Can i revert back .

whats your basis release?

For Basis 701 you must have SAPKB70107

and Basis 702 you must have SAPKB70206

Please login to 000 mandant and check the log files. Also upgrade your SPAM/ staint tool do 7.02/51.

Dear Srinivas,

what is your current version of tp and R3trans, as everybody suggested in another thread, you should have upgraded all the database independent and database dependent files in kernel, which will update all the executables along with lib in kernel.

Please paste us the import logs to analyze further.
