ME 6.0 Work Instruction Log viewing not working as expected

Hi ME experts,

I have created a work instruction in ME 6.4.14 of type URL such that it will open in a new window.

I have enabled "Log viewing" checkbox for the Work Instruction.

I ve attached the work instruction to an operation.

Now, when i open the work instruction for the specified operation in the POD , no record is inserted into the WORK_INSTRUCTION_LOG table.

Sometimes, records are inserted when Work instruction is created as text.

Not sure why there is inconsistency in this function.

Please help me understand why no records are inserted into the WORK_INSTRUCTION_LOG table for certain URL type work instructions

Hi Vignesh,

This issue was fixed in 6.0.4.3 - so this might be a remainder of the previous issue or a side-effect of the fix. You'd rather submit a support ticket to investigate your scenario deeper.
