High CPU utilization on server process of j2ee engine

Dear All,

I have been facing high CPU utilization problem in my PI Production server. In DEV PI there is no such issue. There are no messages in SXMB_MONI (PI PROD) and some adapter engine channels (PI PROD) are polling at intervals. The channel polling is happening in PI Development server also, but it is consuming less CPU utilization than PI Production. What might be the cause? Please help..

Hi Ashok,

If you have NWA access, you can check locks, long running sessions, and java reports.

if you have netweaver 7.1 and above.

login to nwa-->availability and performance management-->java system reports/Locks, you can analysis the following.

1. Average Request Processing Time

2. Memory Consumption

3. Active Sessions

4. Users Logged-In

if you have 7.0, once you login to nwa-->availability and performance management, you can see the overall system status and their details,

analysis according to your techniques.
