Best way will be to add "Order Type" as field in your pricing condition table for your pricing determination of base price.
Like, "Sales org./Distr. Chl/SalesDocTy/Item cat./Cust.grp 1/Materi"
Putting a VOFM routine for the same will restrict you for using beyond those 3 Order Type. If in case in future order type count goes beyond 3.

Main problem with manual Price.
I don't think you mention that in your initial post. Correct?
Yes, manual pricing is pain. By having this, you are increasing user effort in creating one sales order. And increased in effort means more cost at lesser productivity.
Any way, no alternative other than to use VOFM Routine to control this.
