how to test SYSTEM user's new password

Hi,

I can reset above user's password using the way provided by link:

I also see another link:

The difference between above 2 links is that the second link has an extra final step as follows:

  I want to tell if above extra screen is necessary BUT I do not know how to test the new password.

Could you please tell how to get a prompt asking for ID and password on SQL console?

I get it. After above steps, right click the system, I see the SQL console.

Right click your HANA system on the left and select "add additional user"
