ticket visibility in WEBUI search (VAR)

Guys,

We are using SOLMAN 7.1 SP08 and we would like to restrict ticket visibilty for end users in the WEBUI. Now when searching with the end user they can see all tickets, also those from other cusomers.

I have assigned object SM_SDK_IBA (SMIBASDISP = USERS_OWN) to the test user, but I can still find all tickets.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

Thanks,

Philip

Hi Philip

Please check authorization object CRM_ORD_OP and below link

UC00035 - SAP Solution Manager - Security and Authorizations - SCN Wiki

Also, you can check authorization guide on SMP for more authorization objects available as per your requirement.

Prakhar,

Thanks for the reply.

I configured like in this example: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SMAUTH/UC00035

But the test user can still see all tickets. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Philip

Hi Philip

The above should work ...not sure ..if this is a bug in your system or due to some other  ..raise oss and check with SAP as well for this

Another way is to restrict based upon the IBASE as per below KA on SMP

1926788 - VAR Key User able to see IBase of all the customers using SOLMANREQU Business role - Solu...

above must work in any case

hope this helps

Hi Dan,

It works :  in SP10 systems as shown below

Test User( only one transaction type access with own tickets) -  therefore displayed only 1

My USER SAPALL ( I can see all transaction types of incident with all tickets here 3)

If it is not working in your version kindly raise OSS to check with SAP.

hope this helps

Regards

Prakhar

Hello Philip,

You can get that trough organizational model or with a little custom code enhancement, take a look at this post to see if it is useful for you.

Thanks,

But I would prefer to fix it with authorizations. Do you know which objects can be used?

Or is this not possible with athorizations?

For my own experience and for (VAR scenario), I can't do it with authorizations, but maybe for your requirement with the information on Prakhar reply is enough.

take a look at Prakhar answers,
