Call MII Transactions from ME Extension, Hook, or POD Plugin

Hi,

We are trying to configure and test a scenario where we need to trigger a MII transaction from ME. For this scenario, i found this SAP Note 1908404 - Call MII Transactions from ME Extension, Hook, or POD Plugin where a transaction can be triggered from ME POD or Hook point or ME service extension.

Has anyone implemented this note for this functionality.

If so, we are facing an error when trying to execute the ODS_Create_Synonyms_SHARED.zip sql statement. Following are the error screenshots

Can anyone throw light on this error. Has anyone faced this issue.

As per my understanding, post to this note implementation, MII_TRANS_EXT and MII_TRANS_PLUGIN activities needs to be added in the ACTIVITY table which can be used as a service extension or a POD plugin as per that mentioned in the note.

Please confirm if this is right.

Hi,

Looks as if there is no Creata_synonyms_proc procedure in your WIP database. If so, it needs to be created by means of MECTC task as a part of ME database setup as described in Component Installation Guide.
