dispatcher is not starting,it showing a dispatcher as stopped

Hi,

during the process of client copy , I switched off the sap system..

after I tried to start the system , it was not starting and throwing

some error, dispatcher is not starting..

anybody please help me to overcome this problem

I have the same problem kindly advise.

This is R3trans version 6.26 (release 753 - 09.03.21 - 17:57:99).
unicode enabled version
2EETW000 I have some problems during TADIR access.

Hi,

during the process of client copy , I switched off the sap system..


Did you switch off the power or shut it down. Was there any reason to stop the system or switch the power off.


When the client copy was running did you schedule log backup so that log directory doesn't gets full.


What is the database ? If oracle please check archive log directory or log space and see that it is not full.


Please post the logs as suggested earlier for further help.

Hi Vinodh,

Please go to /usr/sap/<SID>/DV*/work

here you can find out dev_disp dev_w* log please provide those log, aprt from this you need to start your DB , once DB is up please ensure R3trans -d is working fine it ensure R3 and DB connectivity.

Hi Vinodh,

Please paste the content of dev_disp and dev_w0 log files and also run the command R3trans -d.

check whether the database is up or not
