Change format of SLED

Hi!

On Record UD screen, shelf life expiration date is appearing in the DD.MM.YYYY format. Our client wants it in MM.YYYY format. Can someone please tell me how to change the format of SLED.

In Material master, "Plant data / stor. 1" view, Under shelf life data, you need to maintain the field value "Period Ind. for SLED as M" then system will show expiration field value will appear as MMYYYY format.

In material master there is period indicator for shelf-life.

you can set shelf-life in the following formats:

D - day

W - week

M - Month

Y - year

It looks like the material you are using has got Date, therefore the system expects you to enter the full date.

If you switch the indicator to month, then only month and year will be required

It should be displayed in the user's preferred format.  But I don't know how you would get it to display without a day value.

In the set up of the SLED in the material master you can specify a rounding rule which would set the date to either the first of the month or the last of the month if you want.  But it will still show a day value where ever it displays.
