JCO connection - SSO2 token other than Portal

Hi,

I am new to SAP communication.

I am making a JCO connection to SAP, using the SSO2 token. Currently we are getting the SSO2 token form the portal cookie. I like to know is there a way to get the SSO2 token other than the portal. (That is, Is there any way to get the SSO2 token using an API). Also let me know do we need to maintain the roles in my local if I take the approach of going out of SAP portal.

Hi Sudhagar,

Please read SAPSSOEXT library. You can get more information. SAP itself provide nice sample to get SSO2 Ticket.
