Hi,

I am trying to install NW 7.4.

I am installing the NW 7.4 on windows server 2008r2 x64 which already has SAP IDES ECC 6.0 EHP6 and it is running fine, by the way it is running on Oracle Database. So question is can i install NW7.4 on the same machine? (machine in the sense in the same VM)? it just have to work.. i really dont care about lagging or slowness as my configuration is very high.

Hello,

Yes, you can install NW 7.4 on the same machine irrespective of the version of IDES system. Please make sure that OS and database prerequisite should be met as per PAM.

The answer is Yes.

You can install an SAP system of release 7.40 on the same machine.

As you have Windows Server 2008 R2 and assuming that you will use Oracle database here is the PAM entry for that.
