Can the File Adaptor can be distributed in the client system. (instead of PCK). if yes can it be passible to distibute to as400 system.

you can have local adapter engine installed toslove our problem. then as400 can directly interact with our localadapter enigne.

I need some more information abt local adapter engine. What are all the configuration is required in AS400. the communication will be happed as400 to xi server. whether it through ftp or jms or someotherway.

Where can i download the adapter engine. what could be maintenance part.

local adapter engine we have all adapters as your central adapter engine. if AS400 send flat files then you cans use File it useMQsries then use JMS.

you need to deploy one more adapter engine.
