Hi,
I am working on ALE settings .The RFC destination created by SM59 should be thw same with the logical system created for receiver XI under transaction SALE?can u explain more breif
Hi Satya,
When you create the business system (in the SLD) you assign a "logical system name" or "ALE name". That is used as the ALE name for transporting IDOCs, and the sender system. You have to also maintain this name in the R/3 System (TCode-SALE, WE20), because IDOC will be noted as arriving from that system.

Not needed to maintain the same names for both Logical system and RFC destination
