Sales Order Vs Available Stock

Team,

Can we block available stock of an item for a customer/against a sales order while creating so? 

E.g. item k existing stock is 600 pcs. While creating sales order, this 600 pcs should move to reserved stock in MMBE.

Is it possible to implement it in R3? Can anyone help me about the configuration for the same?

Hi Vijesh,

In Tcode MB21-create reservation using movement type 251 you can move the stock from sales to warehouse.

If you have configured for automatic credit check, then if it goes for block, confirmation of quantity may not happen.

you may check SD basic functions > transfer of requirements> maintain requirements for transfer of requirements

Do the settings.

Go to OVZ9, select the required Availability Check and Checking Rule and execute.  There tick the box "Include Sales Requirement".  This will block the stock as and when you create sale order.

Hi Dev,

Actually we have the same configuration and ATP is working ...but when we are doing the ATP system just confirm the quantity for that sales order but the stock still remain in MMBE main location.

what we need is that when the ATP checking is performing, the the sales order quantity should automatically move to another location in MMBE sot that the sales executive and planner will not consider that stock for any requirement.

Even though stock is showing in MMBE system won't confirm next time when you create a sales order subject you  tick on check without RLT and include sales requirements in OVZ9.  Did you try this?
