Differance between valid to date maintained in inspection plan header and operation

Hi,

What is the differance between valid to date maintained in inspection plan header and valid to date mentioned in operation of inspection plan.

I have one issue where we use change no to change inspection plan. For same inspection plan we have two change no 123 with key date 01.01.2013 and 124 with key date 01.02.2013. By mistake user has done some change using 123 change no where the valid to date maintained in inspection header as 31.12.9999 and valid to date mentioned in operation as 30.06.2013. We have created one inspection lot where the change is not reflected. My question is what is the difference between valid to date maintained in inspection header and inspection operation.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Dear Rajsekhar,

Have your user change the inspection plan with both Change Number.

This all mess is due to change number.

For EX -

Let us say you chane your routing with change number CHNG1 which is valid from today to 31.12.9999.

Next you create another change number say CHNG2 which is valid from 01.02.2014 to 31.12.9999.

so now when you see you routing with change number CHNG1 it will be valid from today to 31.01.2014.

But as header data of routing is valid from today to 31.12.9999 so it is different from operation date.

So the difference is related it only Change Number. Means the change which you have done is valid for only those period for which change number is valid.
