NetWeaver Installation SAPgui 7.30 problem

Hi,

we are not able to installa SAPgui from NetWeaver Installation... with manual installation works fine.

Have you got any idea?

Hi Ganimede,

SAP Setup is complaining about  the "SAP Automatic Workstation Update" component because

of the BaseVersion difference between the component $SAPWUS being collected in file SapWusShared.xml and the version of the baseversion of the patch version you used to create your frontend package mismatch. (BaseVersion=2114 > Version=901)  This does only work if the original version is not too old.

Please try downloading the NW 7.0 Presentation 7.30 Compilation 3 and migrate your existing server according to note 1266552 (Migrating an Installationserver to a new Compilation)

Compilation DVD 3 is available at [service.sap.com/installations]

-> Entry by Application Group

-> SAP Frontend Components

  -> SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS

Then recreate your package.

I've just try... no success, migration end without error but GUI still (Compilation 2) and my installation on clients has got the same error...

Seems like your installation is corrupt. Can you run the "Check Server" in the NwSapSetupAdmin.exe?

No errors reported. The problem is only with Win 7 64 bit.
