Blocking all materials in one plant

Dear sd experts ,,

i know how to block plant .. we can block in mm01 but in case i have 500 materials are there in my plant so at a time i want to block plant with all 500 materials so how it is possible .... May be MM17 ?

You can try TCode MM17 with Table MARC. What is the issue? What you want?

Hi Venu,

You can define material statuses at plant level by assigning masterial statuses in the purchsing view of material master. But this will not prevent sales order / delivery creation. It can prevent inventory management, purchasing, production related activities.

As suggested by Jyoti select MARC, field MMSTA in MM17 and make the desired changes.

Hi Venu

You can use LSMW or MM17 for the same .I identified a field which might help you .MM17 still a better option for MASS update since its just a single field
