How to Archive IDOCS with status 17

hi all,

anyone knows how to archive for deletion (with a background job maybe?) all idocs in my spool with status 17 (Functional Acknowledgement negative).

hello Fredrico,

You can use the report RSEXARCA for archiving and RSEXARCD for deleting idocs.

But you need first make the settings in SARA.

Check this link initially:

Also check txn AOBJ for object IDOC.

Hi Federico,

The IDoc’s current status must be set archivable; only then can it be archived and, subsequently, deleted from the database. Certain IDoc statuses are supplied as archivable, others not. You can display or change this assignment.

To see/change the assignment, from the IDoc initial screen (transaction WEDI), choose Control->Status. In the table control which appears, choose and double-click the status you are interested in. Below on the details screen, you see if the status is archivable or not; you could change the status to archivable for IDOCs with status 17.

After successfully archived IDoc document, status change to ‘73’ (IDoc archived).
