ECC IDOC added segments are not updated in PI

Hi,

    I am doing IDOC to file scenario in IDOC i am adding new segments and the scheduler is running

But in PI i am not getting the added segments and i am getting the Previous data

How can i get the updated segments data...

Hi Satish,

Open Tcode "IDX2" in your PI system and try re-importing the metadata for your IDOC type. That should help.

Hi Satish,

As mentioned in the above posts by the experts there can be only two reasons that the added Idoc Types are not visible in PI -

1) Idocs are not realeased from the ECC system

2) Idoc metadata have not been successfully imported in IDX2 of the PI Box.

Also, when you are using the new Idoc segments in your mapping then under Imported Objects of the ESR the IDocs needs to be imported once more.

Hi Satish,

Delete the IDOC entry in IDX2. New structure will be imported automatically when an Idoc is triggered from ECC to PI. You will receive new updated structure now.
