Hi,

We are with SRM 7.01.

My query is, when i try to use transaction code "BBPSC02", it is showing message as

"Transaction BBPSC02 does not exist"

We cannot use BBPSC01, 02 and 03 transactions in SRM higher versions above 7.0 ?

Thanks for your reply.

Regards,

Kolachi

Hi Anand,

The transactions you mentioned were applicable until ITS was used.

From 6.0 onwards these transactions have been obsolete. If you want to have the same authorisation like to create, change, view, search Shopping cart then assign the "Operational Purhaser" role to the user/requester and he will be able do that.

Best Regards,

Anil,

So, for higher versions, we cannot use these functionality in GUI then ? Could you be more clear on resolution for this please.

Thanks for your reply.

Hello,

Yes, these transactions are relevant up to SRM 5.0.

As of SRM 7.0, webdynpro technology is used instead and such ITS transactions are not relevant anymore. You have to perform all these actions from SRM portal now, not using the GUI.

Ricardo

HI Anand

You may also want to go through the below page to understand it process wise :

SAP SRM 7.0 is the first version to utilize Web Dynpro for ABAP, replacing its predecessors’ use of Internet Transaction Server. The advantage of this new technology is that it sees use in both SRM and ERP environments and is available as an SAP enhancement package for current systems. It thus forges process content from both areas into a homogeneous user interface users can adjust to their own specific requirements without significant programming effort.

This exclusively portal-based release requires SAP NetWeaver Portal, through which users can access the functions of both SAP SRM (an online shopping cart, for instance) and SAP ERP (such as the corresponding order) without noticing which system they are currently in. They can operate the portal using their choice of a standard browser or SAP NetWeaver Business Client. In addition, the portal technology enables companies to integrate suppliers easily into their cross-area procurement processes.
