EHP7 upgrade error in preprocessing phase after SHADOW_IMPORT_INC

Hello friends,

I am doing an upgrade to EHP7 (on Linux/MaxDB) and currently facing an error in the preprocessing phase after the SHADOW_IMPORT_INC.

Checks after phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHDIMP/SHADOW_IMPORT_INC were negative!

The system is up and running and R3trans -d is fine (RC 0). Could you please help me to troubleshoot this issue ?

Hello all,

Thank you for your replies and help.

Seems to be some bug in R3trans and tp. I replaced only the R3trans and tp in the SUM/abap/exe folder and I was able to continue. However, SUM stopped several times with the same error. Every time I had to click the "continue" button.

Now. TABIM_IMPORT_SHD phase running.

Are there any space issues in MaxDB database ?

Connect to the MaxDB using a DB Manager and check the space details.

So when i check PAM only MAXDB 7.9 is valid for EHP7 for linux.

MaxDB is currently at 7.9.08.16 and hence it should work.

DB is up and running.,
