Clarification between root user time and other user time?

Hi all,

I have some doubts in time zone.

root user is in CET time-saposcol running under root

sidadm,daaadm,orasid,sapadm-these users are in UTC time.

My question is In sap ST06 time is in UTC how it displays the time in UTC because oscollector running under root?

Hi,

Please check the below note as if the timezone is different you might get this error.

1937227 - Missing history data in ST06

Can you please also check what time zone is maintained in STZAC. I thin in SAP the time zone is picked from this transaction.

In STZAC    System Time Zone               CET

                  User's Default Time Zone       CET

In ST06 there is no missing history of data ,It displays every thing correctly.

Hi ,

I few system  STZAC

                    System Time Zone               UTC                

                     User's Default Time Zone    CET 

while running SP12 tcode it displays the time in CET ,ST06 displays in UTC time.

In system status 

System time                        14:17:20

Time zone    CET                 15:17:20

Even in STZAC  system time zone is CET but in system status system time is UTC.

Hi,

Can you try and restart the host agent now and see if you get the correct time. Try to restart the system and see if it helps. Please also provide the version of sap host agent that you are at

As mentioned in the note that the time zone of the SIDADM and root should be same but if you cant have as per the company policy you have another used with the same settings. I know that you don't have any data missing but that can also be the cause of it.
