Hello,

Does anyone come across strange situation in PPDS MTO :-
we have MTO product [APO Requirement Strategy 30 ] in PPDS for which we have MTO sales order .which is not visible in Interactive planning But Visible in Product view, Forecast released visible in product view, but not in Interactive Planning. After PPDS run system generate receipt element all are visible in product view But not in Interactive Planning book.

I searched SAP NOTE but in vein.

Hi,

I believe you got it wrong: PPDS is working fine. It is SNP which gives you trouble, but is working as expected: there is no MTO planning in SNP.

HI M Khan,

you're not using SNP? The interactive planning book is a SNP planning tool. If you're only using PP/DS you should work with product view (/SAPAPO/RRP3) and interactive planning table (/SAPAPO/CDPS0).

Do you have MTO and MTS? if so, the MTS products shows the same behaviour or only the MTO ones?

What do you mean with "I saw earlier"? It was working before?

Hi Jorge,

I am using SNP & PPDS for Make to stock product. PPDS is showing in SNP Planning book and working without an hurdle . It's MTO which is creating trouble.

for MTO product I set PPDS Horizon as full future period. Business is expecting to see / Dislay MTO order in Planning Book.

Me Logically It should display .. although we are  aware SNP is not supporting for MTO. It does mean SNP Heuristic does not Plan . But once we set PPDS horizion for full future Period , I expect it is now become PPDS .MTO is supporting By PPDS .. so it should display in Book.

I don't know whether anyone bring SAP in this scenario Circus. But I think , atleast one I am expecting one who had chased Logically to SAP.

Hi,

Please check out SAP Note 443953 to display MTO orders in SNP. There is a little bit of work involved. It's an old Note but should still be relevant.
