SAP 4.7d Installation

Hi,

I was trying to install SAP 4.7 32 bit on Linux 4.8 and Database is oracle 9i. I had completed CI and on DBI stop on 32 steps appeared the following error.

ERROR 2013-12-20 10:01:21

CJS-00030  Assertion failed: OraSqlContext constructor: arguments dbSidOrSrcObject and dbHome are not valid.

Please advice in this regards,

Hi,

Can you please check the value of the below lines in the control.xml.

the following lines in the control.xml file :

Old: (tORA_DbHome.name WHERE 1 = 1),

target (tGlobalDbParameters.dbHomeName ...

New: (tORA_DbHome.path WHERE 1 = 1),

target (tGlobalDbParameters.dbHome    ...

Note that these lines appear twice in control.xml.

I checked more blogs and most of the case had to re-install oracle but that is the last resort when you cant fix the issue.

Please specify the lcoation of file, I had found the different location:

Hi,

I think that its this.

/tmp/sapinst_instdir/R3E47X2/SYSTEM/ABAP/ORA/NUC/DB/control.xml

as this is related to the DB error.

Hi,

The change of the line has already been made. I had checked it into installation directory and /tmp/sapinst_instdir/R3E47X2/SYSTEM/ABAP/ORA/NUC/DB/ as well.

but tell me about the keydb.xml file.
