EHP version

Hi Experts ,

             We upgraded SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0 , We are planned to update EHP versions , Pls tell me how can i find the existing EHP version from SAP server .

Hi Palaniselvan,

There are instances where System -> Status does not show the correct verion details on the installed SAP system.

Please refer to the below methodology to identify the same -

For SAP NW system,

EHP1 for SAP NW 7.0 ==> SAP_BASIS 701

EHP2 for SAP NW 7.0 ==> SAP_BASIS 702

EHP3 for SAP NW 7.0 ==> SAP_BASIS 731

For ERP system,

EHP1 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 601

EHP2 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 602

EHP3 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 603

EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 604

EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 605

EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 ==> SAP_APPL 606

Hi,

There is no EHP version for SAP 4.7. EHp version were only release for ERP 6 .

As a part of the upgrade you need to go in solution manager and get the stack file and select the target EHP version you need for your ERP6 system.

But you need to also check that the current OS/DB is supported when you upgrade to ERP6 EHPX version.

So go in PAM and see which all hardware and DB is supported and then plan accordingly.

Hi Palaniselvan,

Login to your sap sytem. Now click on sysem ->status(Menu bar).

Now you will get the following window where you can find the existing EHP version.
