SAP JAVA WEB AS is not supported with this startup framework (640)

Hi folks,

I created a new SAP JAVA WEB AS 640 systems via System copy procedure.

The steps were done successfully but I can not start up the system.

The error message is:

OS release AIX 1 6 00C617D74C00 is not supported with this

startup framework (640)

I used the SCS DVD # 51030724_10.

Any clue folks?

I downloaded and applied  the SCS -> SCSCLIENT64UC_11-20000114 and it did not work

Are you getting the same error message.

Can you please post the exact logs in the work directory. What is the kernel on the server.

Can also check the below note.

I believe you need to replace the full kernel with the one supported.

I can also see the EX2 version of the 6.40 release kernel.

You may try to use that.

You may replace the complete kernel.

I would update the kernel with the EX2 version as the EX2 kernel release are compatible with higher version of OS and DB
