Dear Experts,

We are configuring PI 7.31 new server, installation is of DUAL stack,

Using ALRTCATDEF, 2 alert categories is defined

1 alert category for Integration Engine (ALERT_IntegrationEngine)

2 alert category for Adapter Engine (ALERT_AdapterEngine)

, and respective configurations of SCOT is done.

When i test this alert categories using RSALRTTEST, this are working fine and i can able to see those alert emails in my SOST and mpmail INBOX.

I have configured this alert categories in RWB-->Alert configuration. (http://host:port/rwb)

But we are unable to receive any alerts during Integration Engine & Adapter Engine failures.

Could you please let me know do we need to run any background job for this.

I didnt see any entries even in SOST of PI server.

Thanks,

--Sai

You said it is 7.31 dual stack but which alerting type did you choose during post installation?

Is it component based alerting/classical rwb alerts?

If you had selected component based alerting then there is a different procedure to receive the alerts -

Please check below document for configuration-

Hi Sai,

Create alert configuration with *, No restriction, uncheck Suppress alerts box in RWB --> Alert config and try now.

Also, go through below blog and check if you missed some step.

There are services in SICF for Alerts/Alert Inbox, please activate and publish those services.

Hi sai,

check the note 913858 and look for question no 10.

you need to check the tcode t22  with user PIRWBUSER.

Did you check report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER?
