what to add in reginfo file for gateway connections

Dear Techies,

I want to create the reginfo file under /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS01/data/....in which i want to add the data as per note 1850230

#VERSION=2

  P TP=<program ID> HOST=<external host> CANCEL=internal,<external host> ACCESS=*

  ...

# the following lines should be the LAST lines in the reginfo

#

P TP=* HOST=<LIST> CANCEL=<LIST> ACCESS=<LIST>

P TP=* HOST=local

I am not getting what to add in this program id , Host and internal external host names,

Please suggest...

Hi,

have you checked this note.

1408081 - Basic settings for reg_info and sec_info

1702229 - Precalculation: Specify Program ID in sec_info and reg_info.

After implementing this note, modify the Gateway security files "reg_info" and "sec_info" with TP=BIPREC*(Refer notes 614971 and 1069911).

• E.g  "RegInfo" file entry,

• P TP=BIPREC* USER=* HOST=* NO=1 CANCEL=* ACCESS=*

• E.g. "SecInfo" file entry,

• P TP=BIPREC* USER=* HOST=* USER-HOST=*

In urgent cases you can use the correction instructions.

Before you use the correction instructions, make sure that you check SAP Note 875986 for transaction SNOTE.

This SAP Note might already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, however, the short text still contains the term "preliminary version".

I am not getting what to add in this program id , Host and internal external host names,

Program id is the name that you give in the rfc.

like in RFC SLD_NUC of type TCP/IP . Double click in sm59  program id is SLD_NUC
