Warning : Usage of SAPdatabase resource agent without SAPHostagent is deprecated

Dear Team,

In our Sandbox system, we are getting the below alert :

# WARNING: Usage of SAPDatabase resource agent without SAPHostAgent is deprecated. Please read documentation of SAPDatabase resource agent and follow SAP note 1031096 for the installation of SAPHostAgent.

As per the note mentioned, we had installed the latest version of HostAgent but still we are getting the same alert. Requesting your advice/suggestions on this.

FYI - Our system is not connected to Solution Manager.

The second portion of the various versions looks correct, your 518 patch level is a little strange...I would almost say someone copied files from the SAP kernel directory into the hostctrl directory.  I would shut down the services delete those specific patch 518 files and copy the missing files in from the hostctrl install or the 171 patch download.  Then restart the services and do another version check.

Dear Billy,

We had newly installed SAP HostAgent version 7.20 with patch level 171.

We followed the note 1031096 for installation.

	RPM	saphostagentrpm_171-20005731.rpm	SAPHostAgent RPM Package	171	Info	29782

Also our kernel version is 7.20 Ext currently.

Please guide...
