Hello forum,
That question is from a special VAR scenario commented on that post
Currently, SAP is working to provide a Solution for that ( I hope ), but until that is solved, on solman managed landscape change alone constantly.
For understand my question, think on a scenario like the post before, a huge number of managed system from different networks attacking the central SLD from solman (that cause duplicated hostname and SLD system delete ).
An example from originals IT administrations on the system name decision.
Customer A (usa) -> ERP (productive) -> hostname: sapprd -> SysID: PRD
Customer A (france) -> ERP (productive) -> hostname: sapprd -> SysID: PRD
Customer A (japan) -> ERP (productive) -> hostname: sapprd -> SysID: PRD
...
* that situation is more usual than suspected.
The problem is that on SLD "there only can be one" with the same hostname, so on the SLD update from RZ70 for that systems we can see what is explained on the before post.
My Question is, Is there Any (option/trick/hardcode) to avoid products system deletion on SLD/LMDB synchronization process ?
Thanks,
Luis
host name the same for rz70 (sld)
