Hi,

I am trying to install SAP Netweaver 7.3 using the SWPM SPS04 ( latest) with SWPM kernel on SUSE Linux 11 SP1. ( SAP KERNEL 7.20 EXT Linux on x86_64 64bit Linux on Power 64bit for installation/SWPM SP04 Number 51047216)

I get the error as below when I provide the kernel 7.3

****************************************************

I have checked the directory and actually the SAPJVM4, 5 and 6 exist there. I have tried to rename the files to SAPJVM.SAR and still this has not helped.

Thank you Reagan for your reply.

After some trail and error research I was able to resolve this.

I had done the extraction of SAP media on SUSE LINUX system on a USB drive formatted in FAT32. With this I believe that some of the formatting of file names was lost.

Now I copied the media on to the hard disk where LINUX is running  and then extracted using the linux zip tool.

Thanks

Manu

Hello

Try to repeat or retry the step after providing full permissions to all the files.

chmod -R a+rwx /media/LINUXSW*
