PO Commitment

In CJI5 for a time and material contract service PO I don't want the remaining commitment (open value)  to be the planned value minus the expended (actual).  Is there an option that can be chosen based on commitment type?

If you want to remove the remaining commitment (where services are fully rendered), then at time of entry sheet, choose the option complete. This will remove any further commitment.

For material, you need to choose the option delivery completed in MIGO.

HI Matthew,

THis behaviour is related to the unit measure ( check in CUNI your unit messure is committed by value),  you can commit by quantity ( using aunit measure committed by quantity)

USually for services the comitted used is by amount and for materials by quantity.

It really comes down to the definition of "Remaining Commitment".  If I have a contract services PO (time and material)  for $1,000,000 and have actually spent $500,000, CJI5 says that my Remaining Commitment is $500,000 - for a time and material PO this should not be the case
