Solman cant connect to SLD

Former Member

it all started when i accidentally deleted the solman_admin user in solman_setup when configuring the rfc connection of the managed system for EWA.

I have deleted the generated rfc connection and the generated users including the solman_admin.

now i have restored the solman_admin user as well as the rfc connections for Ewa but when checking the sld via sldcheck, it cant connect.

please advise on what should be done here.

thank you

Hi Marvin,

Could you try again to maintain settings in SLDAPICUST & RZ70?

SLDCHECK works after setting up details in SLDAPICUST.

Also check if you are able to directly access central SLD via browser.

Hi Tanmeya,

I have checked the user on tcode sldapicust

The user is a system user and when checked via SU01, the sldapiuser is locked due to too many incorrect attempts ( Password logon not possible (too many incorrect attempts).

I guess this is the reason why im getting the error in SLD.

Now I have unlocked it and it is now successfully connected to our SLD.

Thanks for all your efforts..

br,

Marvin

Hi Marvin,,

Apart from the settings in SLDAPICUST and RZ70.

You have to maintain RFC destination  LMDB_SyncDest1

And complete the setup system prepartion and Basic

Hi Marvin,

Are you checking SLD connection in system Preparation step6.1..?

I think you are checking in t-code SLDCHECK i do know why you require this in solman any way if you want that to be work first you have give the details of SLD in t-code SLDAPICUST.

Hi Marvin,

What is the error you are getting..? post the screen shot here.

Do you have local SLD in solman?

If yes

What error is showing when you open your SLD

<solman host:port/sld>

If No

Is your SLD running which connected to solution manger?

Hi Sriram,

I am using our solman to execute the sldcheck and below is the error

Use transaction SLDAPICUST if you wish to maintain the SLD server access data

Launching the SLD GUI in a separate browser window...

=> Verify in the browser GUI that the SLD is in a healthy running state!

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

Function call returned exception code     4

=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations
