Hello PI Experts,
I am bit familiar with PI 7.0, but my recent project should start on PI 7.3 Java(single)stack only.
Please let me know what is the first step to learn about this java stack? In dual stack we can use t.code sxmb_ifr to launch the integration builder screen, but in java stack how we going to launch the integration builder?
I am alone to working with this project with support of basis, installation done. Is this basis provides any url for login? security has provided user credentials, but I didn't understand where I can login and launch the IB? I read some documents but did not see any related information.
I am looking for first step to launch the IB in java stack?
Also pls. share your working experience on java stack and any related documents links.
Thanks in advance and reading this message.
Gayatri.
Hi Gayatri,
My few tips with Java stuck only. The basic work environment is the same you can launch the IB in http://host:port/dir/start/index.jsp
The configuration is quite diferent to PI 7.0, because you dont have the same pipeline steps SA, RA, RD, ID but you have only one object for all! the integrated configuration object (available since PI 7.1) http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/700058f0-b1a1-2a10-39a8-ab2627b87...
If you want to monitor, go to runtime workbench and you will have multiple options.
Some configuration of the adapters change like IDOC because right now all are in java stuck.
Try with a simple scenario like SOAP - RFC, you will see that the design is the same and it changes only the configuration. You could check this scenario without any external tool, you have the WSNavigator:
I doubt all the thing go right to the first time, because the Service Registry for example needs post-installation, i hope the basis team could assist you if you have any part without configuration or with permissions problems.
Regards.

A sample scenario to refer - Gives an idea on the new IDOC_AAE adapter as well..
