Error in activating the InfoObjects Message no. R7286

Dear All,

I try to create Info object ( KCOMPCODE ) with reference of 0COMP_CODE.  While activation of the Info object throws error " Table /BIC/PKCOMPCODE must be created in the database". 

Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log  --> Detail

Srch Help /BIC/OKCOMPCODE could not be activated

Table /BIC/PKCOMPCODE must be created in the database

The SQL statement was not executed

Table /BIC/PKCOMPCODE (Error adjusting the database)

I try to execute the Tcode SE14 trans --> Enter the Table name as /BIC/OKCOMPCODE --> It throws object does not exist.  What should do?  How to do rectify the problem.

Can you please if Data element & Domain is fine for 0COMP_CODE?

The new characteristic should use the same domain as for 0COMP_CODE.

Hi,

As my guess you may be selected some options(with master data/with texts)at info object level like attr/text. this is reference to comp_code. so unselect those options and try to activate again.

Try to delete the master data table using SE14 t.code and try to enable with master data.

Cross check whether you have got Display Attrs in Attrs tab? Because P table belongs to attrs table.

Go to RSODADMIN T.code --> go to general document properties --> Click on activate generate Document Properties.Generate document properties function will re generate the characteristics.
