Project status in front end not getting updated in DPR_PROJECT

Hi Gurus

We have a problem in cProjects.

For some projects , inspite of changing the status from created -> Released-> Completed----> To be archived, and saving , the status doesn't change in the table DPR_PROJECT.The status remains at 00 for created , instead of 80 for archiving.

In other projects it is changing as desired.

Is it that we must save after every status change?

Does the problem relate to Resource management and conflicting dates?

We do get a warning that :

"Due to the status change, project role staffings and resource dates are restricted by time or deleted

Do you still want to change the status?"

Pls. advice.

Hi Kedar,

It should not happen.

Question: Do such projects have a direct underlying task?

I have know a problem, which occurs only that the project has direct underlying task. If yes, I will find the note for it.
