Hi,

I am planning for an upgrade of Solman 7.0 to 7.1 Ehp1.

Source System: Windows 2003 x64 ,SQL 2005 , Unicode

Target System : Suse Linux 11, Sybase ASE 15

Please let me know the minimum SPS required in Source System for exporting to Sybase.

Thanks

Dev

Hello

The Solution Manager 7.0 is not supported on Sybase database.

In that case you need to upgrade the Solution Manager to 7.1 and then do an OS / DB Migration to Sybase / SUSE platform.

Hi,

This is os db migration So first you will have to get the system migrated across and then do the upgrade.

82478 - SAP system OS/DB migration

1680803 - SYB: Migration to SAP Sybase ASE - Best Practice

Second thing that you need to check what os/db is supported and then go for the migration.

So please check PAM

For the upgrade you can check the below blog.

Thanks

you are going to to OS/DB migration here, not only upgrade.

First perform upgrade if source OS/DB supports this and then perform Migration.
