I am implementing SD revenue recognition for the business process "Service based rev recognition (type B) with delivery.
One of the scenario for which delivery-based RR is applied, is the Sales of configurable material (sales BOM).
In our scenario :
- Pricing and billing is done at main item level
- inventory control, and delivery processing at the sub item level
It involves deliveries of sub items are "free-of-charge". Nevertheless, revenue must be recognized according to the sub item delivery and this revenue must be settled when the invoice of the main item is posted.
Has someone already implemented this kind of scenario ? or do you have any suggestions on the way to manage it ?

I did look at the Thread before Posting it. It gives a clear picture of how to configure the Scenario in terms of the Billing and Delivery of the Sub items.
The issue I have is to recognize the Revenue.
Since Billing is done at Main item level and Delivery at Sub-item level. So how the Rev Req will Tie up.
Has anyone done this kind of scenario.
