Error by Importing Design Objects into ESR: "Missing Value for objVersion!"

Former Member

Hello Experts,

we get an error by importing of Design Objects (as TPZ-File) into the ESR.

All Objects in the TPZ File belongs to one Namespace.

The exported TPZ File is from a foreign SAP PI System (not from our System Landscape).

The Softwarecomponent from foreign SLD are imported successfully in our SLD in the step before and also import from our SLD into ESR.

All caches were refreshed, but we get still the following error:

"Missing Value for objVersion! See error logs for details"

Which error Log is meant here, I look in then "LogViewer" in "NWA" an there are no error information.

What could be the reason? And where can find more Information for this unhelpful error Message?

Thanks in Advance

Best Regards

Hi Cetin

Please refer the below KBA ::

1580832 - Unable to start the PI Integration Builder after a system

Resolution

  • Ensure there are no open changelists within the ESR or Integration Directory when the system copy is carried out, these will be listed within the Change Lists tab on the left side of the screen.
  • There should not be any open collisions/conflicts, these objects will be listed in the Conflicts tab on the left side of the screen. If the Conflicts tab is unavailable there are no conflicting objects.

Hi,

Can you check if there's an object ID recorded within the error message during the import. If this is the case can you use this to replace the ObjectID in the queries in the attachment of note #1407454 'Issue with resolving conflicts in PI'.

Rgds,
