Good day All..
In NW7.3, the administrator user is locked. J2EE_ADMIN user does not have auth to access the Identity management. I therefore activated the user successfully. Upon login on to the J2EE engine, superuser does not have auth as well. I am not able to use VA as this is no longer part of NW7.3. Role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN is assisgned to J2EE_ADMIN user.
Please advise other ways to get this user unlocked

Mahlatse
Probelm now sorted.
change autoulock on configtool console to 5 and increasing invalid attempts before pass lock helped me to try previously used passwords. All good now
Thank you

Good Day,
@Rishi, I have already activated the SAP*, but this user does not have permission in identity management NWA
@Reagan, which role will give access to work with identity management in ABAP. I have already tried SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role which only grant login permission
Please assist urgently need this. I have also logged a message with SAP. Hope this respond promptly

Hello
Login to the back end ABAP sytsem and add the role/profile to the J2EE_ADMIN user.
Or else create a new user with the appropriate rights to access the portal page.

Hi,
Please not that there is no VA in NW 7.3.
If you say j2ee_admin then is it ABAP+JAVA system then you can reset the user id in ume client in the abap system.
If java system i dont think that j2ee_admin is given during the installation.
To reset the administrator in java system you can used the below link . So you need to use config tool and activate sap* in java system.
SAP Library - Identity Management
