Hi All,
The SUP services and connections including the SCC and device where running normally as seen last week, And when we tried to open the SCC console today we are getting some issues. "Falied to connect to Unwired server, Ensure the server is running" and even the devices are not able to connect to the server.
Findings so far -
1) The cluster role in Unwired Server properties has been changed to secondary from primary.(Its a single server environment not a cluster environment)
2) we have ensured all the SUP Services are up-end running and tried restarting the services and services started successfully normally, but still the SCC is showing error.
3) we have even rebooted the server , but no positive response.
4) it seems sup.properties are being changed under the "C:\Sybase\UnwiredPlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\Repository\Instance\com\sybase\sup\server\SUPServer" . But does this really causes this issue ?.
5) Below are the some exceptions we found at the SCC logs -> gateway.log
Caused by: com.sybase.uep.sysadmin.management.mo.exception.SUPArtifactMOException: com.sybase.uep.sysadmin.management.mbean.UEPAdminException: com.sybase.uep.admin.client.AdminException: com.sybase.djc.SystemException: Connection refused: connect

hi rakshit br
Changes in sup.properties will affect the SUP server, I had this experience when im upgrading the server. In my case property loginCacheTimeout had changed in default.property, so servers were not working as expected.
If you have other SUP server check and compare all the properties of sup.property. Fix it and restart the all the services.
This link is something related to your issue. http://scn.sap.com/thread/3441152
This may be helpful to you.

Did the issue get resolved? In not, you can try the following,
Stop all the services in the following order, First stop Relay, SUP services( Make sure the processes mlsrv.exe and OBservicemgr are also stopped) then the Data Tier.
Later bounce all the services in the order, Data Tier, SUP then Relay service.
Thanks,
Shiv

I am assuming that the SUP server related files are corrupted, you can raise a ticket to SAP for a solution.
