Good Day,

Is there any guideline or recommendation regarding which should be the minimum acceptable # of physical cores(cpus) for IQ 16?

Thank you

Jose-Miguel

Thank you Saroj,

I've already seen these docs, but I'm looking for a  minimum recommended(if exists), in order  not to use less than say "N" cores for IQ 16 ( i.e 4,8 ,etc)

There is no minimum requirement (except it should minimum 1 CPU or CORE 🙂 ) needed to execute IQ process.

Of course that need to be tied with performance and other requirements as per sizing guide.

Personally, I would not put IQ in production on anything less than 2-4 cores.  I agree the real minimum is 1.  With just 1 core, though, you miss out on any parallelism and concurrent processing.  For development and test, certainly 1 core could suffice assuming that performance is not a factor.
