Note no. 1830832 implementation problem

Hi Experts,

I am trying to implement the note 1830832. It consist of some attachment , out of which one is qreturn.zip file which consist of transport request , we copied the two files in /usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles , then we add the request in import queue by STMS_IMPORT->EXTRAS->OTHER REQUEST->ADD-><REQ NO> , then we try to import it to our system , but it gives us error message. Import logs shows following error Please suggest.

   Field PANVALDT: Component type or domain used not active or does not exist

   Nametab for table FIWTIN_PARTNER cannot be generated

Table FIWTIN_PARTNER could not be activated

Ended with return code:  ===> 8 <===

But when we trying to implement this thing in one of our sand box, this request was properly implemented there.

In SNOTE it shows that the note no 1830832 can be implemented.

This is the first activity we need to perform to implement this note, so please suggest.

That note has quite a few steps, please check if you miss any manual steps

For this error. You can check in SE11 whether the table exist

  Nametab for table FIWTIN_PARTNER cannot be generated

Hi,

Can you please ley me know with what option you imported the transport. Try to use overwrite option and see if it fixes it.

Can you please also pass on the details of you SAP_APPL and SAP_FIN release.

My components details are as follows:-

SAP_APPL    604    0004    SAPKH60404    Logistics and Accounting

FINBASIS    600    0000000011    N    Fin. Basis

I do not have any component name as SAP_FIN in my system.

I used the same option as per your suggestion , even though the same error occurred in the system.

Please suggest.

For SAP_APPL    604, this note is applicable.

I know what you are trying to say.. first step is to apply transport request attached to this note and then perform other manual activity. After this, you need to apply correction instruction.

I will say, you should raise this to SAP to get it confirmed/corrected.

Hi,

This note is valid for your system.

Now why are you getting the error.

Can you please first see the transport and see if you can see the table in that transport when you double click on the request name in se01.

If this is an issue with the sequence why did it pass in the sandbox.

So both sandbox and  This system are on same SP and kernel patch level.

Hi Rishi ,

In sandbox the kernel and patch levels are different, but going further in the implementation process of the note we are getting the same error what we had in the development system.

So I raised this incident in SAP, and waiting for their reply.

I will update as soon as I get any reply from them.
